CONDENSATE PUMP SYSTEMS:
Pressure powered condensate pumps are popularly considered to be the most efficient and long lasting way to recycle the heat, water, and chemicals that are left after the energy of the steam has been utilized. It also enhances the performance of a steam system by removing the condensate, whether it is recovered or not. Equipment heat up times can be decreased by this one simple concept, and regardless of the industry or application time is money. If pressure powered pumps are not suitable, vertical turbine electric pump options are also available.

Pressure Regulating & Control Valve Stations:
Pressure regulating valves serve a simple purpose, regulating the downstream pressure. However for optimal performance and lifespan they must be properly sized, and installed following specific hookup requirements. An oversized valve will regulate poorly, and an undersized valve will rarely be anything other than wide open. For optimal performance we can help determine the proper valve for your specific needs.
Control valves will manipulate the flow of steam based on the consumption of the downstream load when a process or application calls for energy. The better the system performs the closer you will maintain temperature to your desired set point. Although control valves are innately more advanced, proper selection and hookup are equally as important.

Steam Trap Stations:
Often considered commodity items, traps are vital to the performance and efficiency of a facilities’ steam system. There are multiple types and designs of steam traps available on the market and all have different applications where they perform best. Failed units can end up releasing excess pressures or even worse fail closed, keeping condensate in a system which is both inefficient and dangerous. For this reason it is good practice to have traps periodically inspected and maintained.

Heat Exchanger Systems:
Heat exchangers are utilized for many different purposes, but all are based on similar concepts. No matter what exchanger you have it will only perform as well as the steam you are feeding it with. Proper pressure and loads are required through control valves and pressure reducing valves. Without the proper controls temperatures and pressures can spike, ruining product or causing other costly issues. A healthy exchanger also needs to have a proper condensate system with traps or pumps to remove the liquid which will help maintain minimal heat up time and hold tighter temperature parameters.

Pre-fabricated Assemblies:
Fabrications such as vent heads, flash pots, custom receivers and more are tailored to your specific requirements.
